Riverstone pavers are quality pavers produced in a controlled manufacturing process under constant supervision. The raw materials used are of the highest quality and are monitored under NATA conditions. A computer controlled manufacturing plant means that each Riverstone paver is made to exacting standards and provides Dimensional Accuracy and optimum Strength and Durability. Our quality control process ensures that every paver is individually inspected maintaining accuracy, appearance and colour consistency.

On a regular basis Riverstone engages an independent NATA laboratory to carry out the following tests to Australian Standards.

1. Compressive Strength (AS/NZS 4456.4 - 2003)


2. Transverse Breaking Load (AS/NZS 4456.5 - 2003)


3. Potential to Effloresce (AS/NZS 4456.2 - 2003)


4. Dry Density (AS/NZS 4456.8 - 2003)


5. Abrasion Resistance (AS/NZS 4456.9 - 2003)


6. Slip Resistance (AS/NZS 4586 - 2004 Appendix A)


7. Resistance to Salt Attack (AS/NZS 4456.10 - 2003)

Cleaning and Sealing:
Cleaning and Sealing is covered in greater detail in the Laying Guidelines section of this site. Riverstone recommends penetrating sealers such as Dry-Treat Stainproof and NOT the use of surface sealers.

New Domain 495x395x40mm pavers are now available. The Domain is an imposing, boldly proportioned rectangular paver availble in five stylish natural colours: Bluestone, Ash, Buff, Mediterranean White & Driftwood. The Domain allows various stretcher bond or standard grid laying patterns.
